Judythe Coffman [email] Judythe Coffman, has been involved in purebred dogs for over 40 years. Besides participating and competing in field trials, hunt tests, obedience trials, retrieving and field ratings, conformation shows and teaching dog show handling classes, Judythe is an AKC approved judge for several sporting and herding breeds. She has also been involved from the local to the state and national level in fighting anti-animal legislation. Her book A New Owner's Guide to Weimaraners, is now out of print but can still be found on Amazon.com.

Judythe is a lifelong animal owner, primarily dogs and horses. She has 6 years of college level education in animal anatomy and physiology, animal behavior and psychology, genetics, small animal nutrition, farm animal management, as well as 1.5 years of pre-physical therapy and 3 years of general education, English, math, history, etc. at Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI; Pierce College, Woodland Hills, CA; and UC-Davis, Davis, CA.

She has enjoyed participating in the sports of hunting and fishing since about the age of 8, first with her dad, then with her husband, Leonard, and their dogs.

Judythe is also approved to judge AKC Junior Showmanship and is in the process of applying to judge with UKC. She has also judged over two dozen rare breed shows over the past 20 years.

Judythe has been at the forefront of health research issues for weimaraners with her national and local club, and has recently been appointed as a breeder mentor by the Weimaraner Club of America.
